I just had a conversation with Mike Foster, Assistant Motor Vehicle Director at National, and he informed me that the new Mack tractors will not have the air starters. They probably will be automatics. We are suppose to get 9 new tractors, with 8 of them single axle version, and one a tandem axle, but the best part is, they will all be conventional, no cabover back-breakers. As soon as I get more information, I will post it here.
