I have returned from the all craft conference. The combined conference had a few problems but as a whole went off well.

The combined conference shortcoming was as a general officer I had to make a choice – attend the crafts general sessions or training breakouts. I chose to attend the three general sessions.

Attending the three general sessions allowed me the opportunity to gain knowledge and insight into all crafts we represent.

The banners on displayed should be a single APWU banner with the three crafts listed on the banner.

The Maintenance and Motor Vehicle both approved resolutions returning to three separate conferences.

I am not sure of the numbers but my impression is all three general session had more in attendance than normal.

We addressed the extension and covered many issues pending at the Washington, DC level. President Bill Burrus did an excellent presentation as always when he addressed everyone and the general sessions for the crafts.
