President James Chiang and I met with Western Region Coordinator Omar Gonzalez, local union officials, and managers from southern California.

The issue was an updating and briefing related to the excessing Marina P & DC employees.

The Southwest Coastal Area Local will be receiving approximately 21 Maintenance and Clerk Craft employees.

· Five ET 11's to the Santa Ana Plant
· 4 MM 5’s to the Santa Ana Plant
· 1 MPE to the Santa Ana Plant
· 1 Custodian to La Habra
· 1 Custodian to La Mirada
· 6 Clerks to the Anaheim Plant
· 1 Clerk to Brea
· 1 Clerk to Buena Park
· 1 Clerk to Cypress

Seven key issues were noted:
· Maintenance Grandfather Clause
· Mid pay period moves
· Change Test and impact on TE’s
· Update of withheld positions and status within 30 days
· Update Light and Limited Duty List (Excess Employees)
· Point of contact for Updated Medical Information
· Window Training – Re-test procedure

The Marina P & DC is scheduled to close on July 9, 2005.
