The California State APWU conducted an advance OWCP - Injured on Duty - program November 4-6, 2005. The instructors, Bill Sims and John Goodwin are very knowledgeable and those attending the training were pleased.
************************ The California State APWU Retiree Division met on Saturday, November 5, 2005. The California State APWU Retiree Division updated its constitution.
California State APWU Executive Board will meet today at 1:00 PM.
2006 the California State APWU and California State APWU Retiree Division will have its annual convention in May of 2006 in Pasadena, California.
The National Convention will be in Philadelphia, approximately August of 2006.

************************************* Anaheim MVS Steward John Riggs has completed initial steward's training on Saturday, November 5, 2005.
********************************** LMOU's for Anaheim, Silverado, Atwood, Sunset Beach, Fullerton, Newport Beach, Los Alamitos, and Irvine are completed.
Santa Ana LMOU and La Habra are near completion.
San Clemente, Dana Point, Garden Grove, and Buena Park LMOU's are ongoing.
El Toro, Huntington Beach, and Cypress were scheduled to open and then parties agreed to extend current LMOU.
